On arrival the hotel said they did not have the room i booked. I sat down and started to look for a diifferent hotel on my phone.. Then they said they did have a room. I should not have accepted it as when i got into bed it was full of hairs and dirty pillows. Reception saw the pictures and agreed i should have a discount for a dirty bed. He said there was nobody in charge for 3 days. So a foolishly believed him and paid in full. The hotel do not answer emails and you must AVOID.

    Barbate

    One night stay travelling through Barbate for the 1st time, hotel in a perfect location just off the beautiful beach, and was easy to find. Basic accommodation but clean and staff pleasant. Expensive for what it was but mainly due to the time of year we stayed, peak. But no complaints.

    Spacious rooms

    Barbate is a little bit out of the way but the lack of crowds is welcome. There are a number of beach restaurants -choose from their billboard menu's. This was a night's stopover between Lisbon and Gilbralter. Nice balcony looking out at the beach

    The hotel is great located on the beautiful beach and has a friendly staff. Barbate itself is not the best place to go in Costa de la Luz. We reccomend Canos de Meca, trafalgar and el palmar all nearby.

    Relaxing time at Adiafa

    A really clean, modern hotel right on the seafront. I wish I had booked a room with a balcony! Next time.
