Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable and above all super convenient location in the middle of Silom, across the steer from the Patpong market. In the con is the waterwell-like construction of the hotel that captures and amplifies even the slightest noise at the ground level and you can hear it in your room. They either need to invest in the soundproof windows of find the way to block the sounds from the lobby level.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property and highly recommend it. Every single staff member without exception was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean, with fresh towels every day. Internet service was fast and efficient, also. Breakfast buffet had a good mix of Asian and western cuisine and varied every day. They also had vegetarian offerings. Hated to leave, but was signed up for a bus tour to Northern Thailand and the tour company was using a different hotel. Wish I could have stayed at Ibis Silom longer!

Good stay and ideal location

I would say it is a good stay and location is ideal. However, the weather is hot in Bangkok and while it is a short walk to Saladaeng BTS, do expect to sweat it out.

Location is great - within walking distance to Sala Daeng BTS/Silom MRT and the newly opened Central Park mall. There’s a 7-11 nearby too about 150m-ish walk away and a Lawson 108 which is nearer. The hotel is located in a very busy area with lots of eateries around - Chinese cuisine, Japanese cuisine especially, and a McDonald’s on the opposite side. Service is awesome, staff are all very friendly and prompt when requesting for items from room service. Only incident that happened and scared my mum 1 of the nights was when the room blacked out while she was bathing. Be sure to have another person in the room so that the sensor can sense someone otherwise it’ll shut down the room.

I had a great room, was nice and quiet. The pool and bar were great. Drink prices were too expensive though unless you go for happy hour. Guess that is the privilege of not having to leave the hotel. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel in great location

Lovely hotel in the heart of Silom. Did not eat here so cannot comment on the food. Room on the small side but ok for our 2 night stay. Loved the rooftop swimming pool area & the bar.
