Great budget hotel. Great value. Great location. I’ve stayed here many times. The friendly staff , gardens, breakfast buffet, and location are the most notable things about IBIS Bangkok Riverside.Keep in mind that this is a budget hotel. The rooms are basic. Don’t expect 5 star hotel amenities. Staff and services are excellent. I’ve stayed here at least 40 times and have no complaints. Great value for this location by the river in Bangkok. If you’re wanting a luxury hotel experience you’ll have to pay at least triple what IBIS charges.

IBIS Riverside is my favorite place to stay while in Bangkok. This is a very popular and busy hotel. . As most of the hotels along the river are. It’s always booked up. • The staff are efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, kind and just genuinely friendly. •The garden, patio areas, and pool area, as well as the view of the river is surprising to find in a budget hotel. •The hotel is within walking distance to the ferry boat to take you to one of the main piers/ Sathorn Pier. From there you’ll be able to use various boats to take you to all the major attractions along the Chao Phraya River. The MRTtrain is located there too. •I’d recommend paying extra for the breakfast buffet at the hotel. it’s very good with an amazing variety of choices. I always choose to eat on the patio by the river. •The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable with cold AC, and plenty of hot water. •The rooms with a view of the river and gardens are my favorite rooms.

Great value for this location on the Chao Phraya River. Beautiful garden with excellent view of the river boats, but the absolutely best thing about this hotel is the staff! This is my favorite hotel in Bangkok( I’ve stayed here A Lot). Comfortable rooms; no complaints. Great breakfast buffet too. Large patio and pool alongside the river.

Staff is amazing! (I’ve stayed here about a dozen times.) Very good breakfast buffet with numerous delicious choices of food both Thai and Western. Staff is cheerful and very helpful with luggage, transportation, where to shop, tourist map, etc. Beds are comfortable with clean sheets and towels. Convenient to pier, ferry, express boats to ICON SIAM and the hotel has a shuttle to the MRT (commuter train). Good Thai food restaurants nearby Also, a 7-11 for essentials. IBIS Bangkok Riverside is my favorite hotel in Bangkok.
