Hotels with Swimming Pool in Bandera, Texas

"We arrived early and they made us wait until exactly 4:00 to check in. Did all others the same way I will say. There were several large groups that they seemed much more prepared for than our 2 room group although we gave them a month in advance reservation. The rooms were very outdated and somewhat pieced together. There was a coffee pot plugged into a surge protector along with the tv that was suspended mid air and no support. We were given a handicap room and was told it was exactly the same as the others except it had a walk in shower. This was a joke of a walk-in in shower. No glass door only an old cream plastic curtain and was the same floor sharing the toilet. Disgusting. Attached was a vanity that has a terrible dirty smudged mirror. I could be more critical but I will stop here. We didn’t Eat at the restaurant after the condition of room and what we had oaid was too much. We did have a drink at the Pub on Saturday nite and no waitress or waiter. You had one little bartender trying to make the drinks and handle everything. "

"Dirty room with trash in the trash can. Charged $11 for parking without informing me. It was always free before. I've stayed there for years. The duvet was very torn and worn out. I'm never staying here again. Even La Quinta is a better option. "

"Been to this resort every year for years. We usually don’t eat on property except for Signature (amazing) and pool side. This time we decided to stay on property and to be honest not impressed at all. We skipped big breakfast and ate at Henrietta’s not good at all!! Lunch time we ate at Spitfire and had a sandwich. Service was very slow. The sandwich was good except for all the oil saturated on the bread. Dinner we ate Mexican, not impressed at all. I truly feel for the top notch hotel i feel it is the food should be also"

"The pros- Check in was easy and fast and breakfast was good. The cons- room wasn’t as clean as I’d like it (restroom had hair in it, the walls had something splattered on them, lotion bottle that is glued to the wall was out of lotion). The room was 80 degrees when we first got there which took a few hours to cool down to 70. Something else is you get charged a $4.99 fee, per day, to park in there parking lot. "
