We loved Banchory and the hotel was perfectly located for walking the town. Lots of independent shops and food choices. Only one night there but would stay there again.

Cool place to stay and eat

People are really Great. We ate at the pub inside the hotel and food was good and service was quick. Rooms were warm and big. Full size tub was cool

The Burnett Arms Hotel is very friendly and our room had a new bathroom, very well equipped for older people with mobility problems. There is an extensive menu for snacks or dinner in the bar, a range of good whiskies and the breakfast was excellent. The only little snag was that the fishcake was cold... but the staff quickly put that right, with apologies.

We stayed here to enable us to go to family gathering close by. We found the Burnett great value for money and were very pleasantly surprised with our room. It was very spacious, very clean and more modern than expected in an older building. The bathroom was just as nice as those I’ve seen in much more expensive hotels. We met family and had drinks in the bar which is also very nice. While we did not eat here the plates of food we saw looked tasty. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

Give it a chance.

After booking and paying found some scary reviews but we didn’t experience any of them. B/fast value £12 each, couldn’t finish mine, good coffee. Bar service good, busy outside seating area. Some noise o/n but to be expected as we were overlooking the High street. Could do with a little attention to detail in room, paper peeling from ceiling, curtains off track in few places. Parking off street available when checking in

Banchory is lovely and has a few nice restaurant options nearby. This hotel has nice staff but needs some work. The bed clearly hadnt been changed, there was mould on the walls and there was no iron in the room deapiate asking for one. The shower was freezing cold for a solid 5 minutes as well.
