"Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts). The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns. "It was a pleasant and peaceful stay there. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The prepared meals were delicious. The hotel owner is very helpful and hospitable and gave great tips for exploring the area!"

"Horrible smell in room would not go away, smelled like an animal had died in or in adjacent room. Paid for two days of motorbike and had to return after one day because it was not suitable--hostesses only refunded part of one day."

"The room itself was okay, a basic standalone hut. It wasn’t by the river, which was unclear from the photos, and another couple had the same misunderstanding. But the elephants visiting in the morning absolutely made up for it — such a special experience."
