"This was a spontaneous trip to Koh Samet and found this gem on Expedia. I originally booked for one night but upon arrival I realized this was paradise so decided to stay for 2 nights The manager Knot was extremely helpful, polite and professional. He took great care of us and the entire stay was enjoyable. From the breakfast to the clean rooms to the views and more, this place should be on your bucket list. I will be back. Thank you to the entire staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful "

"Been coming to Sai Kaew Resort for 16 years. It’s a great location with a very competent and friendly staff. There is major construction going on which we were unaware of. They also moved the breakfast buffet from the location next to the beach to another building which has no view. Finally the food inflation in Thailand is unbelievable and this applies to all tourist locations. It varies between 300 and 800 percent. Yes the numbers are correct. It is a sad development to what I consider the best vacation destination in the world. "

"Last minute booking headed to Koh Samet to catch the ferry the next day. Warning the ferries are 40-45 minutes away but it worked out fine. Hotel was clean, comfortable, service great and bed very very comfy ,😁"

"Was exactly as the guide and the photos portrayed. Not a lot to do outside of the hotel grounds but the hotel itself was excellen. The Fishbar was a little expensive but the food was really nice. Would thoroughly recommend for a relaxing break "
