"Our family of 4 came in May 2026, 2 girls age 6 and 9. The hotel was nice and the pool and excellent proximity to the beach was great! Our girls enjoyed the balcony pool. Nice restaurant (we only really ate one restaurant few minutes from the hotel on the beach called somewhere else was yummy, very affordable and also great view of the beach). We’d definitely stay at Lanta Sand again. "

"The staff was fantastic my wife got food poisoning in town. Do not eat scallops. Staff arranged rides to medical clinic for us. Can’t say enough how helpful they were because transport on the island isn’t easy. You have to walk or take long tail boat."
