Balud hotel rooms a the Independent

"Had a large family celebration here. Solina is a beautiful resort with great facilities and a good range of rooms, all clean fresh and comfortable. It's pretty isolated here but in house food and drinks are reasonably priced (except perhaps the pizza, which is awful btw), but the menu although large is a bit of a vegetarian desert. Check in can be arduous, very bureaucratic, but check out was smooth this time. Very happy with the overall value."

If you’re expecting a beach-front five star hotel, you will be disappointed. This is a great little place typical of a Philippines hotel in the area. Flushing toilet, shower, sink, and a small room with a bed. WiFi worked great. Pool tables downstairs. And incredibly nice staff. It was perfect for my needs and a 5-star rating for the hotel that is. "
