Sturt Motel

Sturt Motel

8/10 Good
"We were assigned Room 2 which had a recently refurbished bathroom- the room was comfortable with pleasant blue soft furnishings. The new bathroom would be improved with some shelving or somewhere to place toiletry bags and a shower caddy or shelf where shampoo, soap etc could be placed, as they had to be put on the shower floor and bending down to reach them is challenging for seniors with restricted mobility. We would have preferred a room at the back of the motel, further away from the noisy main road with thundering trucks passing by. Room 2 also backs onto a car wash, so we were treated to the sounds of gushing water and washer rollers operating from quite early in the morning. An information folder about the room amenities and local area would be useful, but we managed with some trial and error to discover how to operate the heating/cooling and TV. Altogether we had a pleasant and comfortable stay and would return, but request a room further back from the car wash and road."
