"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. "Although the other side of the River Shannon to the city it was only a short walk across the bridge. Unlike some other city hotels there not only was parking available under the hotel, but at the time we were there more than ample parking, albeit at a not insignificant cost. Our room was spacious, well decorated, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The inclusive buffet breakfast was very good and we also had a meal one night in the hotel which was good too. A very smart hotel in a lovely city."

"This was the ideal location for a flight the next morning. There was an initial problem with the key and the lock, but the front desk person was responsive and got us taken care of right away. They were helpful when we requested ice and borrowing a baggage scale, which was immensely helpful for packing for the flight. Overall, a pleasant night stay prior to leaving Ireland."
