"I didn't realize this was a student dorm facility that apparently they rent out during the summer months. No air conditioning in the room and it was quite warm in there. Not much in the area in regard to dinning or anything else. Lots of students around being loud at night. Check-in was interesting because it's not like a regular hotel. "The staff were less than helpful, There was no car parking anywhere near the hotel. It was student accommodation and not suitable for mature aged travellers. We chose not to stay here and found another motel."

"We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. "The hotel was elegant and welcoming, My friend and I went to bed each night pondering what delicious treats to have for breakfast in the morning, The staff was friendly and helpful , and we loved having a Guinness at Fitzgerald 's last evening, The room was tastefully appointed , and the bed was comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed the array of pillows! The service was impeccable, and we will be raving to our friends and families about our stay at The Imperial, to be sure! Thank you for providing such a memorable experience, "

"We really enjoyed our stay. This is a very convenient hotel located both near the train station and the downtown area overlooking the water. Check in was very easy as everything was very well organized. The room was very spacious and clean and the bathroom was completely renovated. The rest of the room is a bit dated but nevertheless well kept. Beds were very comfortable and diner at the restaurant was impecable. "

"The hotel was clean. Staff were top notch beyond exceptional for everything. Beds were comfortable and rooms quiet. There is a small health club attached to the hotel that you can use. They have a pool and that turned out to be really nice. It's included. We didn't eat there but did have a drink. They are pricey. Location is good not great for getting around. Taxi service is easy. This was a last-minute book as we cancelled another reservation. It was a little bit pricey, but I believe that's because it was last minute. Overall, a great stay. "

"We enjoyed the comfortable bed and pillows and not having to step into a bath to have a shower. The enclosed shower was great. Space was tight around the bed and I did bang my leg on the sharp corner of the bed passing from the window side to the bathroom at night. Breakfast was simple but adequate. We enjoyed the entertainers in the lounge. Overall cmfortable and very handy for going to the town centre."
