Apartment itself was perfect. Had everything we needed, very spacious and clean. Washer, dryer, clothes airer were very handy for beach days. The most beautiful beach and running track are a short walk down the hill. Only little issue was the pool was quite dirty, but we still jumped in for a bit. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great place to stay

The apartment is amazing. Very modern and large. Very close to the beach. There were two things that could be improved: 1) check in instructions should be provided beforehand. We arrived after reception office hours and freaked out a bit as it's closed. Called the local numbers but went to answering machine. I saw there was a mobile number and I called there. Good thing it was picked up and advised where the keys was. They could've advised me beforehand how to get the keys in advance. 2) we found three live cockroaches during our stay. Perhaps some pest control would help. Other than that, the place was perfect.

I needed a 2 b.r. apartment to accommodate my handicapped son for a short stay. Grandview had all that we could wish for. Very clean, large rooms, lots of natural light, fully equipped, under cover parking, swimming pool and a view to top it all off.

Beautiful apartment, nice view, bathroom could have done with a bit more of a clean, but good overall. Nice extras in the apartment like coffee pod machine, large smart TV in lounge, TV in bedroom, BBQ. Friends in another apartment didn't have those things though. Very happy with our stay.

The Grandview Apartments are very spacious and comfortable with beautiful ocean views. Management were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely stay here again.

It looks like the apartments in this hotel are privately owned. The one we 'lucked' was cluttered with old, shabby furniture, stuffed full of the owners junk (including presumably confidential consulting records). Paint was peeling off the bathroom ceiling and the (only) bed was a overly hard double (not even a queen). Perhaps some of the apartments are well furnished and maintained - but I wouldn't chance it again .... . The hotel is within walking distance of a couple of good beaches, but nothing else .... . If you really want to stay in Ballina, try the south-side of the river.

Lovely spacious apartment

Very pleasant to have plenty of space compared to a hotel room. TV has subtitles which is very much appreciated for the hard of hearing. The beach is only a five minute walk away. It has a 'full' kitchen so can make a proper meal. Laundry has a washing machine and drier.
