"Great location. Very nice and clean. Breakfast was good. They had a nice weight room and pool. They also had a surprise room with a pool table and a large wall scrabble board. Nice outdoor seating with a gas fire pit with corn hole boards. The rooms were nice and had plenty of amenities."

"The cost of the room was very inexpensive, so we didn't have high expectations to begin with. Unfortunately, there were additional charges a t check-in because we stayed for less than a week they amounted to almost $5 extra dollars per day. When booking an extended stay with a kitchenette, we assumed there would be dishes. We were told that there would have been an additional charge for them, but the staff suggested that we purchase our own because the quality of what they offer was so low. They also didn't have enough towels and washcloths for each of us, and they would not provide any extra (although they did wash ours for us and returned them within 3 hours). The floor of the room was sticky; we had to purchase a Swiffer mop to clean it ourselves."

"We almost didn’t keep this reservation after having a pretty bad experience at an Extended Stay in another town the night before, but I’m glad we did. This location was so much better. The hotel is definitely older and dated, but everything was clean, which makes a huge difference. The room was comfortable enough for our one-night stay, the refrigerator/freezer actually worked, and the amenities we expected were there and in good condition. The mattress and pillows were still an issue for us. The mattress was very, very firm, and the pillows were once again extremely flat. Extended Stay may want to rethink the three-flat-pillow strategy, if only to preserve marital bliss. Maybe provide four pillows if they are going to be that flat. Overall, though, this was a much better experience. It’s not a fancy or updated hotel, but it was clean, functional, and provided what we needed for a night on our road trip. After our experience at the previous location, we were very relieved and would stay at this Frederick location again."
