"The hotel is way out in the country, far away from the town accessed by a very rough road. The unit is over a kilometre to the beach and restaurant. No one and I mean no one speaks a word of English. Texts aren’t answered unless in Portugese . And it’s a time share. The house itself is lovely though, maybe fine for Brazilians, but not English only speakers."

However, the service at dining was very slow, when food or drinks were ordered it took some time, and it was only 4 of us ordering at the time. I can only imagine if it was busier.
