"Charming small hotel visited a week before Easter 2024 - not their peak season so I suspect it is sometimes harder to get the lovely room on the 5th floor - but the room itself was a solid without being outstanding. "We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. It was as romantic as we wished for to our anniversary celebration. It is nice and quiete. Nice rooms, very good breakfast buffet, and super good restaurant. "An absolutely delightful boutique hotel overlooking the shores of Lake Muritz, and in the Old-Town area of Waren close to all amenities, restaurants, shops etc. Originally built as a young-ladies 'Finishing School' in the late 1800's, the hotel is full of period-atmosphere and history, and the decor and furniture reflects this. Our room was a really good size, and also had a period sofa, desk and coffee table, as well as a modern bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast was a real treat of home-made and local produce, along-with cereals, muesli, breads etc. The owners speak very little English, but with my school-boy German (or Google-Translate would also work), they couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful with advice. The small additional charge for car-parking is very good value for Waren, where on-street charges can be quite expensive. If you are looking to stay in Waren and would like personal service, friendliness and a beautiful hotel with charm and history, then this is your place! (Note the opening hours of the reception desk - the hotel is unable to take late arrivals, which you should plan around.) "
