"Staff were all very kind, helpful and professional. Hotel was clean and rooms smaller need some updating but comfortable. Breakfast in the hotel lobby was adequate and tasty. Dinner in an adjoining restaurant was reasonably priced and surprisingly good. Parking right out front under big shady sycamore trees. No sprinklers so most grass and landscaping is distressed unfortunately. This is the case in most of SW France during the summer. The property was very accommodating for both me and my service dog."

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The staff made us feel at home from the very first minute. The property is simply stunning. Rich in history, beautifully restored, impeccably maintained, and incredibly elegant, it perfectly blends luxury with authenticity. Everything is spotless, and even the signature scent throughout the hotel adds to the unforgettable experience. The grounds are magnificent. The gardens are beautifully kept, the swimming pool is peaceful and inviting, and every corner of the property reflects the care and attention devoted to maintaining this exceptional chĆ¢teau. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the beautiful medieval village of Monpazier, with its charming market and picturesque streets just steps away. Private parking is convenient, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. Every detail exceeded our expectations. This is far more than a hotelāitās an experience. Without hesitation, itās one of the very best places you can stay in the Dordogne, and we canāt wait to return. Highly, highly recommended."
