The place is good for a night stay.
Washroom is away from your stay in common area. No lights in property area during night time. For young adults it’s good for experience.

Really enjoyed this experience.
The view from the room was amazing!
The location was really convenient.
The person taking care of us was amazing! We checked in late and he was really kind
This place would get 5 out 5 all around if the bathrooms were better maintained.
Loved our stay at the domes! The dome was gorgeous, and we appreciated the AC and heat! The view in the morning was incredible. The hot tub was a small soft-side hot tub so our family of 4 could only use it in pairs, but that was the only minor annoyance. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
The dome was really nice inside. Very comfortable bed and everything you need. The bathrooms were far away from the domes and quite messy. The property itself seems to be undergoing renovations. It was a great stay but felt and looked a bit different than we thought.

Room was roomy and clean. Path to restrooms was muddy and not enough. It looks like they are still in the process of completing restrooms

We stayed in the dome which was great. It was a neat experience It was clean only downfall was it's close to the highway so it was loud with the vehicles going by. bathrooms were quite far from where we stayed in the domes . Property is still doing quite a few updates and I think it has a lot of potential in the when future when projects are complete. it is advertised that there is a hot springs there but there is not .
The dome smells not good. Limited bathroom beside the dome without maintaining clean on time. location was fine. The dome is just right beside the high way.

Expect to do glamping in luxurious tent. Using common bathrooms is part of glamping as well.
They are still under construction, so there's lots of traces of it, contractors or workers leaving construction material behind.
To me, they shouldn't advertise a "hottub" as an amenities when you can only offer a blown up warm bath you can buy at costco or Walmart...Which it wasn't warm when we were there.
Staff were great and the dome was clean.
There was an issue with the heat pump at night and kept shutting off, which brought down the dome temperature close to freezing.
Had I known it was a construction zone, I wouldn’t have stayed here. You really should let people know. The dome was lovely with a great view - if you dislike traffic noise, the domes are right next to the road so it’s pretty loud. Work crews were there until 7:30pm so that wasn’t great. The “hot tub” and “pool” are non-starters. Consider the location to not have them. It was an ok stay.
This place is a little slice of heaven without any hassle and with great prices! I was totally blown away with how clean, nice, modern and cozy these domes are. We will 100000% be back! Also, rain or shine they are a dream come true to sleep in, so romantic as well, view of the ocean. I was disappointed at first that we happened to be there on a rainy night but was wrong, the sound of the rain and just being in nature with it all was magical to say the very least, and I am sure with a story night it will be just as nice or maybe even nicer due to being able to see right through the center of the roof. The staff were also super friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were also super modern and nice. I just can't say enough good things about my stay there and just the whole place. Thank you, we will be back!
Check in was good. Inside the dome, it was good, But the amenities are not yet ready, bathrooms are new but not well maintained. It should be priced at $50/night. Not right for the price that was charged.
The Dome was very clean upon our arrival. The Dome gets very warm during the day, especially if the curtains are open. We suggest you keep the AC on to stay ahead of the high temp. Jeff, property manager, was extremely helpful and accommodated our needs.
A reminder: the Domes do not have an individual washroom. It's glamping - a framed domed tent structure with very comfortable beds, a pull-out couch and the benefits of: microwave, keurig machine, pole lamp and power outlets. The washroom are in near proximity to the Domes.
It is a quaint setup. The bathroom facilities need to be completed. It's a work in progress. Next season will be better functioning 😃
Beds were comfortable in the domes, very peaceful and relaxing 😎 the hot tub was a bonus, and the view of the water was lovely, we had access to the bathroom and shower in the inn, and Jeff and crew were helpful with towels and anything else we inquired about :) highly recommend and we will be back!

We have a great night and this is our first glamping experience. Washroom and shower was not totally ready for the public but I understand that this place is still under construction. Wifi not able to reach to our Dome. View of this place is amazing. Looking forward to come back with fully equipped and all the construction is done.
We loved our stay here, even though it is still somewhat under construction. The domes themselves are spacious and clean with a view over the lake (across the road). Wifi worked well, and dome had fridge, microwave and coffee maker. AC/heat unit was efficient and there was an extra heater "just in case" which we did not need. Communal bathrooms are new and clean and each stall includes a shower, toilet and sink. The skylight opening in very cool to see both the night sky and the morning sunshine.
We were initially nervous when we pulled in because several domes are incomplete, but the ones that are finished are fantastic. The workers completing other domes are quiet and respectful.

The dome was fantastic, it even had a television, which was great for the evening and when it rained. It is a work in progress so be patient it is all about the dome. It had huge views. Jeff was outstanding. The showers broke down but they let us use a hotel room. The hot tub should be deleted. I recommend them, once they are completed the price will certainly rise.
The dome is spacious, clean, and has adequate amenities for an overnight stay. Great location as it situated along the road and next to Tim Hortons and gas station. Staff is kind and helpful esp when the dome smelled plastic fumes maybe because of the sun’s heat, he quickly helped open the dome exhaust windows to let the air flow. The cons is that washroom is outside and shared. About two domes are functional and already open to the public, few more domes are being built. Hope they’d consider the unobstructed views from the dome otherwise it will defeat the purpose of staying in a dome not a hostel. The tub is next to the washrooms so not really inviting. You can park beside your dome but pavement still uneven, maybe they will improve it as well. Overall, it’s a value for money, a good spot to have break at Baddeck before or after a long drive between Halifax and Cabot trail. Recommended.
I was nervous booking this after reading some poor reviews, but our experience couldn’t have been more opposite! We absolutely loved the glamping experience!
The site was still under construction during our visit (only 3 domes open), but the ones that are finished are just the cutest! It looks like a large building for washrooms is being built next to the domes as well - we had to use the washrooms in the main motel this time, but that wasn’t an issue!
The property manager was super helpful and very kind. We had an issue with our key fob, called him & he came down right away to help us out.
Super close to gas / Timmie’s for morning breakfast & fill-up before we hit the Cabot trail. Our dome had 2 double beds, a tv, microwave, fridge, ac/heater, and WHAT A VIEW! Perfect place to rest our heads!
We didn’t have a chance to check out the hot tub, but we will next time!
We would definitely stay again! 10/10 😊
The receptionist at check-in was terrible. I said hi three times and she never responded. She didn’t smile or seem friendly at all. While my friend was filling out the check-in paperwork, I said that I wanted to check in as well, and she replied, “I’m doing one right now,” in a very rude tone. Those were the first words she said to me.
I do have to say that the property manager was very nice. He made the fire for us, was helpful, and treated us kindly throughout our stay.
However, my first impression because of the receptionist was terrible. I honestly don’t remember ever being treated with such disrespect and lack of kindness while receiving service during a vacation.
Also, the reservation was not clear that I would receive a bedroom instead of a dome. My expectation was that I had reserved a dome, since that is what was shown on Hotels.com, but when I arrived on site, I was given a bedroom instead.
Plus, the hot tub that was advertised was not like the pictures at all. It was not placed with a view as expected, and it was just a small inflatable tub that could barely fit one person at a time.
