"The buildings at the Commune are amazing. Stunning, sleek and airy architecture complimented with perfect lighting and top notch service.Being the only ones walking along the wall is a memorable experience. For the high standards of rooms and service the price is more than worth it. An excellent weekend away escaping the hustle and bustle of Beijing. The hotel has a pool, a few choice places for dining, a gorgeous yet a bit pricey spa, and a kid's play centre. Waking up to overlooking the wall...
"We had a great 3-day stay at the guesthouse. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful despite limited English skills and the restaurant serves delicious Chinese food.
Located 2 hour drive North of Beijing in a remote village close to the Great Wall, the guesthouse is perfect for a getaway from the busy capital.
The rooms are new with nice facilities and a small courtyard for each room makes it very private.
We will be back in future and we will recommend this guesthouse to others that...
"It is 20 min from Great Wall of China; but around there is no restaurant. We ate restaurant inside hotel, food is good; also breakfast buffet is the best. Staffs are friendly but no English speaking, we used google translator. Great hotel, strongly recommend if you want to go Great Wall of China "
"Check in was ok although a long line with only 2 ppl in front desk. It was prepaid w/double breakfast but the next day the breakfast site could not find my record so the bill was sent to my room. Later then I received a call from front desk to ask how to pay the room fee etc. I replied it was prepaid and then I sent my receipt to front desk, then front desk said they need to verify with if I need to pay or not with financial dept to check if they receive fund or not. No information was replied...

"The hotel itself is very nice and clean The staff are very friendly with the exception they really don't speak any English so even the simplest things they don't understand I did pick the property because it said they speak both English and Chinese but they're English is very very limited if at all and then even in all of China when you use a app to translate to Chinese they still can look at you funny and don't really understand it so I'm not sure what the translation does but it's not as accurate as it should be I guess but the rest of the property is at one point was probably very beautiful but they don't really keep it up it's like they just fired their landscaper 3 weeks ago and things are overgrown but it's a beautiful property if it was maintained better but it seems like most of the places I was in in China are the same way where they don't weed or cut grass in certain areas where they should to make it look pretty it's not a deal breaker it's just odd that they don't maintain that better."
