"It was our first visit to the Pheasant Hotel but it did not disappoint. Everything was first class from the minute we arrived. Helpful, Friendly staff good food . Nothing too much trouble Will certainly return. Thankyou"

"I have stayed here a few times now and we love this hotel. It is a bit tired in the rooms but nothing to spoil your stay. I did find the staff were not a good as they have been. Reception never answer the phone, you have to go down to them. Breakfast is not good. poor selection and poor service. They had no bread left out, no ketchup left. They had 6 empty bottles out for customers to use, everyone was empty. When asked for more, it never came. I ordered from the menu and paid extra. Arrived cold and egg not cooked correctly. I didn't bother the next day. All in all I do love the hotel and grounds. I am assuming they are working with reduced staff because of the cost. I would stay again, just mot bother eating there."
