Great Service and Proximity

The standout feature of our visit was certainly the exceptional service. The reception and the breakfast staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was comfortable. However, it’s worth noting that the room we were in, the layout was quite strange and not as functional as we have hoped. Some areas felt cramped, and certain furniture placements made it difficult to navigate comfortably. Additionally, we found the street noise to be disruptive, particularly during the night. While this is often a factor in city hotels, we were hoping for better soundproofing considering the price point. If you are sensitive to noise, we would recommend requesting a room away from the street. Overall, it was a good 2 night stay , considering the excellent staff and the proximity of the hotel to restaurants, shops, grocery stores and alike.

Property has potential, might need a management change though. Staff knew internet was not working before we booked the stay and didn’t tell us till after we took possession of the room. We stayed in the premium 2 bedroom suite. 1 TV had 4 channels to watch, 2 TV’s were unusable. I asked staff when the TV’s and internet would be working, they said they didn’t know as they called their internet provider over a week ago and the provider had not attended to fix the issue. The Air Con in the master suite smelt of cigarette smoke and we cleaned the filter. It’s possible the smell was because it was an ionizing air conditioner that can produce ozone, distinct cigarette smell was noticed by others with me. The master suite has good blackout curtains, but the way they are installed they allow bright light into the room. The entry to the suite has glass with no curtains meaning there is no privacy in your hotel room from the outside area. All of the kitchen pots are heavily burnt and not usable. For the price you would expect pots in good condition. Henry staff said they could not adjust the rate because we booked with Expedia, after over a week they have not responded to requests by Expida for price adjustment to account for the misrepresentation of property and no internet. The waiver for the balcony was also a first I’ve never been asked to sign to release all liability including theft. Stay elsewhere.
