"This is a boutique hotel and while is doesn’t have pools and nightclubs it has a charm that is unique. It is beautifully peaceful and the beach in front of the hotel is as good as it gets. The staff are amongst the nicest people I’ve ever met. Despite its small size Villa Umi offers a wide ranging food menu and extensive breakfast and even a cute little bar. Couldn’t have wished for a nicer stay. "

"I enjoyed a 28-day stay at Catalinas Inn. Although it’s a budget hotel our room was satisfactory. The staff really shone at Catalinas. Our stay was made more enjoyable because of their kindness and friendliness. The food was great and we liked the location. "

"Located within the city, the resort is a perfect place for families with kids like us and we stayed for 12 days straight. It is an expansive property with 3 pools that gave us choice of where and when we go for a swim. The property is gated and secured. My 2 kids on another room could walk around safely around the property. The food is good and the daily night time entertainment is fantastic. The staff are also friendly. This place is a good base to explore the island province of Bohol. I recommend this place."
