My room was beautiful and cozy-- it seems like I got one of the updated rooms. There was quite a bit of construction on the grounds and also on the floor I was staying but it did not bother me nor affect my stay too much. There was some noise and a minimal debris here and there, but again it wasn't enough to make me complain. I am a bit more understanding than the average consumer -- so that might be something that would bother someone else. The hotel is already nice so I imagine whatever they are doing will make the hotel better for future stays. "

"We cannot say enough good things about this Riad. The Riad is super clean and beautifully furnished. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The Riad breakfast is tasty and filling. We also ate dinner at the Riad one evening and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The pool is refreshing, especially in the summer heat. We also appreciated that the Riad arranged a late night pickup for us and had a staff member walk out to meet us at the Medina entrance at about 1:00 am. We would definitely stay again. "
