"We stayed there as it was convenient for a conference we were attending close by. Clevedon was lovely, the hotel was ideally situated on the sea front. "The pub/hotel is on the Main Street across from the petrol station so we expected it to be noisy but thankfully it wasn’t in the room. You check in at the bar which can be problematic if you bring your luggage in with you as it can be packed with bar patrons. The rooms are in a separate building which is quite new, parking is first come first serve for both hotel and general public so we had to park down the street until we could find one closer. "Not a traditional B&B, but a spare room with private bathroom in the host's house. David was very friendly and welcoming. His house is spotlessly clean and our room was well equipped with lots of space Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and clean. Breakfast was a nice touch, with David accommodating our needs/wants without skipping a beat. Definitely consider staying here, but book in advance as the room goes quickly."

"After a long journey we were met by Liam, who promptly prepared us tea and cake to have in the courtyard, which was so welcome. He booked a table at the local pub for us and really looked after us for the duration of our stay. The historic building is quirky, beautifully appointed and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
