Avalon Harbor hotel rooms a the Budgetel

"Beautiful, relaxing, and great stay at the Diplomat Hollywood Beach Resort. Our room was exactly what I reserved for, 19th Floor Oceanview with Balcony. Perfect level with a great view at eye level . Staff is very kind and accommodating. Shout out to Eugene from Bell Service, very nice and helpful. The only issue I found and it’s important, the rooms are not well cleaned. Found pretzels on the floor under desk when we checked in. Also, I happened to still be in the room when I saw one lady change the garbages and then tried to refill the coffee pods with the same gloves! Luckily I was in the room to let her know. Overall, amazing hotel and service. Waking up to the view of the beach was relaxing. I am already planning to go back. "

"Hotel: Very beautiful hotel. Very clean and decorated beautifully. Onsite parking deck but vehicle not really needed. 3 pools which one was an adults only rooftop pool with bar(my favorite). Onsite restaraunts. Lots of pool activities. Kids club. Overall great stay CONS: Guest get up early and put towels on all pool chairs to hold them and then leave. This seems to be a big problem even tho staff tried to remove many towels people started leaving articles of clothing just to hold a spot....i literally seen a lady do it next to me Rooms: Very clean, spacious and comfy. Nice balcony, refrigerator, comfortable beds CONS: Water pressure is terrible. No microwave (not a big issue for us) Entertainment: Live dj was at the pool daily. Live bands daily (they do have an entertainment calender online). Live bands played mostly rock but one night the band played a mixture of different genres and it was amazing. Area: Very safe. Lots of police presence on the beach. Live music. Many restaraunts/bars. (Didn't really find any club/ places to dance.. most bars were restarant style on the beach).Nice beach area. Lots of shops, icecream parlors ect There is a watertaxi area as well. Overall great stay. I would return."

"I loved the hotel. Beautiful view and close to a store. The two things that were wrong was the television gave us no signal until the last night when we notified the front desk. Also, the water in the toilet was brown and when we notified the front desk the cleaning person said that’s normal in Florida. "
