"It’s a good hotel, but I don’t understand why a pet-friendly hotel has carpet in the rooms. I also didn’t see the need for valet parking, especially with a $29 per day charge it didn’t seem necessary. But overall, it was good for our family to stay there for two nights. One more thing: when we arrived after 4 PM, the room wasn’t available. They ended up putting us in a room for guests with disabilities."

"The pictures are deceiving and nothing like what the actual place looks like. The rooms are dirty, run down and uncomfortable. There is mold and rust. Hair in the bed that was not ours. Only good thing was the location, which is probably why nothing gets done to make it better. So disappointed. My husband never complains and he noticed and was upset about the condition of the place."

"First time spending over $400 for a 2 star for location. Location was epic, right in the middle of old St. Augustine. Adding $25 to park your car was ridiculous. Granted, price point was last minute (a week in advance) booking through expedia,and during spring break, but I'll probably avoid the central location next time for a quieter sleep as the location was definitely not condusive to peaceful slumber."
