A return visit after 10 years and everything just perfect - very spacious cabin and the most amazing views . Only pity was the horse trough wasn’t there so no wild horses in the immediate vicinity

If you want a special African treat then Eagles Nest Chalets are for you. It is far away from anything with a stunning view. You are on your own with the quietness and solitude to admire nature and the view. No room service, just you and nature. A little fireplace if it’s cold. Another amazing are the stars and the Milky Way almost touchable. No light pollution. Mind blowing.

A stunning location. Amazing view from a rustic chalet. Highly recommended. Bring your own food if you can. You can cook and even make a bbq at the chalet. We were at The Wall. We loved the yard at with Adirondack chairs at the back of the rock; well protected from the wind by rocks with a great view on the Mount. We highly appreciated the setup of the dining table in the chalet. Bathroom is a bit basic. Remember it’s rustic rather than luxurious.

Second stay even better than the first

This was our second visit to Eagles Nest and this time we stayed at Eagles View Cabin. Eagles view was even better than our last cabin with an amazing view. We were surprised to find the desert in bloom with wild flowers everywhere - really beautiful. The cabin whilst rustic and a little chilly at night has everything you need for a self catering break and was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t bother to drive to the lodge as we stocked up with supplies and spent our time exploring the beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed disconnecting as we had no wifi or phone signal but that was perfect.

Das Eagle's Nest ist einzigartig. Die Zimmer befinden sich in den Felsen und sind makellos. Wir haben auf dem bereitstehenden Grill mehrfach ein Braai gemacht. An der Rezeption bekommt man dazu hervorragendes Fleisch und Würstchen gemäss persönlicher Vorbestellung. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kommt an und fühlt sich wohl wie bei Freunden. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und nach einem intensiven Tag tut ein frisch gezapftes Bier an der Bar besonders gut. Von mir eine volle Empfehlung und jederzeit wieder.

Une véritable experience dans un chalet perdu dans une plaine entourée de montagnes roses au lever du soleil. Quel beau souvenir aussi ce feu de bois que nous avons fait et devant lequel nous sommes restés quelques heures. Il faut le vivre

Wir haben im Eagles View Chalets für zwei Tage übernachtet. Es war absolut grandios!!!! Dieses Panorama was man von Bett aus sehen kann direkt vor der eigenen Tür. Ein Grillplatz der seines gleich sucht!! Das Personal was liebenswürdig und hilfsbereit ist!! Es war wirklich ein wundervoller Aufenthalt. Die Chalets liegen etwa 7km entfernt völlig einsam. Die Strauße oder Pferde ziehen langsam ihre Bahnen und man kann sich ein reichhaltiges Frühstück und BBQ mit auf das Chalet nehmen. Alles ist sehr sauber und rustikal und gleichzeitig schick eingerichtet. Absolut ein Traum!!!!!!!!

Die Eagles Nest Chalets sind ein Traum. Große blockhausähnliche Hütten, die die umgebenden Felsen in die (Innen-) Architektur mit einbeziehen. Liebevolle Einrichtung, riesig viel Platz und Atmosphäre ohne Ende. Abends auf der Veranda mit traumhaften Fernblick, später Sternenzauber bei perfekter Stille. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Absolute Empfehlung.

Lage und Aussicht spektakulär und einzigartig! Geräumiges Chalet mit vollständiger Ausstattung und gut bestückter In-Room Bar. 2 Terassen vor und hinter dem Haus, die vordere seeeehr klein, die hintere über Felstreppe erreichbar - nachts etwas kriminell! Vollständige Ruhe durch die abgeschiedene Lage 15 km von der Rezeption und Schwesterlodge Desert Horse entfernt. Phantastischer Sternenhimmel! So jetzt aber das große Aber: es gibt KEINE Klimaanlage! Keine Beschattungsmöglickeit durch Rolläden o. ä. Das Chalet besteht aus solidem Steinmauerwerk, welches die Hitze des Tages speichert und nachts abgibt. Lüften hilft trotz kräftigem Wind nicht wirklich. Nach entsprechend schlafloser Nacht wechselten wir in Desert Horse, was problemlos möglich und für uns besser geeignet war

Le Rock superbe chalet avec vue époustouflante.

Sur la route de Luderitz nous nous sommes arrêtés à Klein Aus Vista. Nous avions choisi un Eagle chalet. Au départ de la réception compter 20 min pour arriver au chalet par une route graveleuse et étroite. Notre chalet le Rock se trouvait en haut de 2 côtes raides. Nous avons pu laisser la voiture sur le 1er emplacement à une dizaine de mètres du chalet car la 2ème côte était très très raide. Style montagnard très bien aménagé avec belle table dressée à l'arrivée. 1 grand lit, 1 plus petit, salon, feu de bois, cuisine équipée, frigo... Terrasse. Superbe si vous avez l'occasion n'hésitez pas à choisir un chalet. Loin de tout mais vue à couper le souffle. En tout 6 chalets bien espacés. Pour aller à a piscine il faut compter 20 min en voiture car près de la réception. Petit déjeuner complet.

Wunderbare Stille, schönes Haus in den Fels gebaut. Kein Internet, kein Fön und Wasserkocher, da Solarstrom. 7 km von der Rezeption entfernt. Eigenes Barbecue! Herrliches Erlebnis!

Traumhaft schön! Die Chalets liegen abgelegen, so dass man seine Ruhe ganz und gar genießen kann. Die Chalets sind super ausgestattet und sauber. Man sollte zwei Nächte buchen, um das ganze zu genießen. Einzig allein der weite Weg zur Rezeption/Frühstück ist etwas anstrengend, aber das würde ich nicht als Kritikpunkt sehen. Die Angestellten in der nahe gelegenen Lodge sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde sofort wiederkommen.

Eine traumhafte Lage, mit sehr schön eingerichteten Chalets. Von den Chalets kann man schöne Rundwanderungen machen. Nur Verkabelung teilweise etwas einfach und Solarlampe hat leider nicht funktioniert.

Perse liegt Eagles Nest traumhaft mit toller view. Wir hatten viele Woche vor unserem Kommen das Haus mit der besten Sicht angefragt und bekamen das bestätigt. Leider bekamen wir ein Haus ohne Aussicht.

Großartig

Dies war eindeutig die schönste Unterkunft unserer 3-wöchigen Namibiareise. Wir waren 3 Nächte hier und der Abschied fiel uns ziemlich schwer. Wir hatten das Chalet Eagels View, welches das letzte ganz am Ende der "Straße" ist. Die Ruhe, der Ausblick, die Sonnenuntergänge und die Abende auf der Terrasse ... einfach unbeschreiblich. Auch die Einrichtung und Ausstattung des Chalets war super, es gab einfach nichts zu bemängeln. Wir haben einen Abend im Restaurant des Desert Horse Inn gegessen, welches ausgezeichnet war. Noch großartiger war jedoch die Möglichkeit, ein "Grillpaket" zu bestellen, so dass wir zwei Abende auf unserer Terrasse gegrillt haben mit ganz hervorragendem Essen. Das war definitiv ein Highlight unserer gesamten Reise.

Digitale détox, lekker eten en prachtige omgeving

Zalig gelegen in The middel of nowhere, op 7 km van de receptie en het restaurant. De chalets in natuurlijke stijl hebben alles wat een mens nodig heeft om zich af te zonderen en te genieten van de rust en stilte van de woestijn, digitale détox! Het eten in het restaurant was van topkwaliteit en de bediening super vriendelijk. De sundowner die we met ons 2 en gids Ricky hebben gedaan was gewoonweg fantastisch! Hier kom ik ooit terug.

fantastisch, hier bist du eins mit der Natur, 7 km weg von der Hauptlodge, in traumhaft ausgestattetem Haus , mit tollem Blick auf die Wüste und wenn man Glück hat sieht man in der Ebene eine Eisenbahn vorbei fahren. auch eine Wanderung durch die Wüste oder die Berge ist ein Erlebnis, und wenn man nicht zum Essen zur Lodge fahren möchte , kann man sich hier einen Brai zusammenstellen lassen, den man unter romantischsten Bedingungen sich schmecken lassen kann
