"While it was a little more than what we wanted to pay, nothing beats literally rolling out of bed at 4am and walking 3 minutes to the Departures area. We easily caught a train and used the bus to grab dinner because it's hard to "walk into town". But the bus access was quick and simple. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the roo was really quiet. I would love to always catch my plane on vacation like this."

"It is great modern hotel - very friendly and helpful staff and good value for money by Oslo standards. That is probably because it is away from the centre in a fairly uninspiring location. We didn’t have a car so travelled in and out via Okern T-bane station - it’s about a 10-15 minute walk away - not too far, but not super convenient. I wouldn’t like doing the walk after dark and once you are at the hotel, you’re stuck there. The top floor bar and restaurant is pretty run of the mill with a limited menu and, of course, the usual Oslo prices. I don’t mind paying high prices, but it has to be for exceptional food. My only other comment is that everything is very high tech (loved the lifts), but sometimes the controls in the room were a bit too clever by half. "

"There are no words to justify it, a person must experience the place to understand how sublime it is, if you cannot relax there then you will never have a chance to anywhere else, the Spa varieties, art touches and scenery is fantastic, the staff is outstanding "
