"This resort was a HUGE highlight of my trip to Myanmar. The staff was so friendly and helped in every way that they could. The breakfast was delicious, rooms extremely spacious and perfectly kept grounds. The drinking water was a huge bonus. "I already book the hotel room at your Expedia App. We already give deposit by Visa Card. But when we arrived Famous Hotel Kalaw, the reception said, they are not received our booking. So, we can't stayed at Famous Hotel. All the rooms are fully booked. So please let me know how your App process are working and how our deposit money back."

"Rather new hotel right at the canal. Great view from the room's balcony and even greater view from the forth floor restaurant. Staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious (pancakes, eggs, noodle soup, fruits, etc.). Room well equiped. Would definitely stay here again. (Yes, the motorboats are rather noisy in the early morning hours, but it's totally fine with earplugs.)"

"A very hospitable new hotel about 4km outside Kalaw in a quiet area with fantastic rural views. Still getting established and with plans for a pool and spa. Great food and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful. A little quiet while we were there but probably due to low season approaching and getting themselves set up."

"We stayed for 3 nights after a trek from Kalaw. The bedrooms are large with the most comfortable beds in Myanmar... and sumptuous white bedding ! Lots of hot water and good a/c. Hotel is on the edge of town so quiet and great for catching up on sleep! Only 10mins walk (5mins cycle) or less to everywhere in town. Hotel provides free bikes to get around. We organised a couple of trips on Inle lake via hotel which was excellent value with good boat drivers who collect you from the hotel - beats...
