Arrived ten minutes after checkin time to find reception locked. Called number on door with no response. Owner arrived as we were leaving. Was then advised couldn’t locate reservation and he doesn’t deal with Hotels.com. Had to contact hotels for support. One hour later, after a lot of back and forth he handed me the key. Owner was very brash and frustrated. Room very poor quality for the price with no soap. Had to go and ask for towels for the number of people we had.

Arrive and nobody was there, waited for couple of minutes finally see a bossy slow old man in reception, and had no idea how to find a reservation by names. Room is in bad conditiin, many things older than my age and was not powered on for a long time, such as fridge heater and TV, need to learn how to make them working by switching buttons on the wall and inside the fridge... No hot water!!! Went to see the old man and was asked to wait for 5 mins, then nothing happened so I had to ask again and said need to wait for 10 mins now. Also I was asked to listen to him all the time rudely, I only tried to ask what was wrong and if we can change another room because my daughter was so cold in the bath room after waiting for hot water for a long time already. There were plenty vacancy that day but he said you will NOT get another room. Finally the hot water tank was switched on, the gas was lit on then it started to heat....we have to wait for another hour to have hot water to shower at 9pm. I suspect they just turn everything off when the room was vacant, and just don't turn them on before the new guest arrived. Sleeping time, there were hairs on the beds and sheets, long and short...I am too tired to complaint and don't want to be rudely asked to be quiet again......

rooms are filthy, hair in the shower very stained carpet baked on food in the microwave, blankets stained and dirty , shower doesnt work properly, , lovely to wake up to a chainsaw at 8am filling the room with fumes , overall aweful place to stay, no excuse for dirty room

The unit was filthy and mouldy. Curtains had mould carpet was stained and filthy, not all lights worked, entrance was not swept so there was an accumulation of litter, could not turn the shower tap off properly and it constantly dripped, bed was hard, noisy and you could feel the springs. Absolutely terrible stay at this unit.

Property was cleaned and the owner afforded us a late check in. Main issue was the room smelled mouldy. The couch was particularly smelly. The room only had an oil heater so was never really warm. We had one milk and one bar of soap for two days.

Needs updating , needs work , needs maintenance,

Old , needs updating, bed was hard and uncomfortable, cracks in the kitchen and bathroom so bad the bathroom door doesnt even shut properly. Parking was so tight you had to unload before using the the parking spots , trees need pruning , weeds need weeding , way overpriced for what it was , very disappointing, needs major work !! Augusta was amazing!!

Like - property was within town. Close to Cafes Dislike - paid too much for a room of that standard TV not easy to manage Fan didn't swing to all directions, but at the end we were fine because it was not warm inside Rooms need a major upgrade if possible, felt like walked inside an 80's house. No lights in the common area where car was parked No soap not sure whether that's how it will be always We were a family of 3 and were provided 2 towels Kitchen plates and others smelled like never been used or not recently cleaned. Not a friendly host, queried about open times of Cafe or restaurants in the evening and didn't respond properly. Don't think I will recommend or stay again in this property
