"Nous sommes restés 2 nuits, si nous n'étions pas attendu ailleurs on serait resté plus longtemps. Les hôtes sont adorables. C'est un hôtel à taille humaine, très appréciable. "Expedia sells this as a 3-star hotel. This is a vacation rental property with no frills. When we landed at the property at 7:30pm, they had left the chalet open with the key in the door (that at least, they communicated with us about), the bed unmade, and no soap or amenities to talk about. When I messaged them, they said that this was a holiday rental property and not a hotel and they did not do beds or provide soap etc. I am not sure how to trust Expedia and their rating system after this....

"We loved this beautiful guesthouse and our gracious, welcoming hosts. Nelly’s jams and Franck’s yogurt were a delight at breakfast. If you are staying in Sarlat, try to stay here. It is a bit removed from the medieval city, though only a few minutes by car, or an easy walk. We really appreciated the peace and quiet. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel,the staff were very friendly especially Eric who was in charge of the breakfast which was very good, it’s in a great location and is in walking distance of shopping areas and some very good restaurants which were recommended by the hotel, there’s a very atmospheric square where we enjoyed a drink after dinner and listened to some live music "
