Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Warwick-Providence (Arpt) by IHG
6/10 Okay
"My stay at Holiday Inn was ok but was disappointed after booking a 1 King size bed room to be placed in a standard 2 queen size bed room. The room didn’t not look like the pictures and had some damage to the room, it was also not as clean as I would have expected. Upon arrival the front desk clerk was very kind also the staff during complimentary breakfast there was one staff member who was rude but unfortunately was unable to get his name. The reason why I booked here was based on the reviews but can say some of them were deceiving I read a review that stated that they had a hot tub which lead me to book this location which
was false. Breakfast was delicious. One good thing about this place was that the location was great and accessible to the highway and restaurants and malls."
"The hotel was very convenient, clean and the staff were very nice however we had a horrible night sleep. Our room was next to the service elevator which we did not know and it ran all night long keeping us up. It was too late at night to swap rooms once we were completely annoyed so we just stuck it out. When we told the manager in the morning he was apologetic but when we asked to get our money back the best he said he could do was a free breakfast. At least it was something however a fully or half compt room would have settled with me lot better. His excuse was that when they are very busy they have to put people in rooms that are of lower quality. My beef with that is that we were not warned and did not get a discounted rate for something the hotel was well aware that was sub par. This seems like bad business and totally not fare. I will never stay at Omni again. And if you do, make sure you are not next to a service elevator! "
"First of all, as soon as we arrived we had 2 toddlers and luggage and nobody even opened the front door for us. The service was terrible. We weren't able to shower for 2 days since the shower in our room was broken. We called the front desk and someone eventually came the next day and the shower was still not working properly. For a room of 4 people, only 2 towels were provided and we had to keep asking for more. After sharing that our stay was very bad, they offered us 15k points towards a future hilton stay. On the upside, the coffee was good and the restaurant inside the hotel was very good and had good service. It's a good pick for someone who missed their flight but not someone visiting Rhode Island, in general."

8/10 Good
"The staff were very nice.
Only one microwave outside the dinning area.
The walls and window cills are crumbling.
And there used to be a jacuzzi.
And so called breakfast comes with the room on week days but not on weekends when they charge more for the weekend.
The weekend buffet is $18.00 per person.
And nothing good on it"
"The hotel is an old building (probably early 1900's?) that has been re-tooled to work with today's more modern needs. Having said that, I don't think it hit its intended goal. Expedia notes this as a 3.5 stars - I believe that represents the hotel amenity level. In reality, it is a 2 star hotel at best. The rooms are spare, lighting is dim, bathrooms are tiny, towels are threadbare and not enough of them. The bed was comfortable, but there was not really a bedside table that worked (it was a small table, about 12"x12", no shelf). There was an outlet nearby the bed for charging. One of the two chairs in the seating area looked like it needed repair, the staff was friendly, but not overly helpful, with no phones in the rooms and spotty wi-fi at best. The TV didn't connect well to any of the entertainment apps provided. Lastly, we stayed for 3 nights and end of day 2, I had to ask about housekeeping services, as our room hadn't been attended to. The front desk staff apologized that they "missed" servicing our room and the the cleaning staff had left for the day. He brought up some clean towels. Overall, I was so underwhelmed by the hotel that I considered moving to another one."
