A lack of recent rainfall exposed this clay bank along Wright Patman Lake in Bowie County, Texas. Beginning in 800 a.d., Caddo Indians used clay from this region to make their famous pottery. The earthenware pots were made by hand and fired in an open fire. AC good. Smelly carpet, peeling wallpaper, scratched up door, broken screen. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. It was affordable but you get what you pay for. Staff was nice enough.
