Top Athy Hotel Reviews
Killashee Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property."
The Heritage
10/10 Excellent
"This was a lovely hotel with great food, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and the staff were very helpful. The lack of air conditioning in the rooms was annoying. This might not always be an issue, but it was when we were there as the rooms were extremely hot. We asked for fans and these were then provided which did help. The other issue was the number of guests smoking right at the front door so that we had to walk through a cloud of smoke on the way in. It wasn’t the best first impression of the hotel, especially when travelling with small children who also had to go through this. We asked if there was a side door we could use but were told there was not. On the whole, we did enjoy our stay and we would recommend The Heritage."
Midlands Park Hotel
8/10 Good
"Lovely hotel but didn't quite feel like a 4 star. The little extras you'd expect just weren't there. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable but the was only a kettle for instant tea/ coffee! Breakfast was lovely. Staff on reception were very helpful but the lady in the bar restauraunt was rather rude. The swimming pool was great. Small jacuzzi and the sauna wasn't hot enough."

Mount Wolseley Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Our room was a double executive and it was large and roomy with a great view over golf course. The bar food was excellent and there was plenty to see all within a 20mins drive."
Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Rooms were spacious, and decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was delicious. A member of staff took us to a nearby village as we couldn’t get a taxi, which was very thoughtful. Food and drinks in the brasserie bar were reasonably priced. We had spa treatments and both enjoyed it, but the sauna and jacuzzi experience was a bit odd as it’s not properly connected to the spa and we had to use towels from the gym to shower after. The Fairways Restaurant was good but the food was nothing special and the price seemed very elevated. We preferred the meal we had in the nearby Ballymore Inn. Overall a lovely hotel with a great - although my fairly challenging - golf course"
