Hotel very close to everything, ideal location. Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms quite small but had everything needed, kettle, coffee maker, fridge and all toiletries in bathroom. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel to stay at in Athens, especially for solo travelers. Right in the center of everything as well as close to the Metro. The street might look less than ideal upon arrival, but I found it to be quiet and safe. The actual hotel itself is very nice- clean, comfortable, and secure. The staff were absolutely lovely people. Would definitely stay here again, and for longer!

Don’t know how this hotel gets high review score. It’s the worst ever since we booked with Expedia!! Very bad location, noisy all the time with the traffic, room is very limited and poor not pleasant to stay!

The location was near to the main streets. Hence, everything including the metro, restaurants, bakery, supermarket were easily accessible. The main ruins were also all at walkable distance which made getting around much more convenient. The staffs are very nice and helpful. Overall, we loved our stay at the Athens Market Portrait, definitely made our trip more enjoyable. Definitely recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay! The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful in booking transportation services and answering any questions we had. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of many of the great sites and shopping districts. Our room was so much fun!! Small, but very clean, with two twin beds and a great little balcony that we spent lots of time on in the evening just watching all the people go by and the shops opening and closing. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would definitely stay here again! Thanks to the wonderful staff for making our trip so special!!!
