Large, VERY clean property with comfortable beds/bedding and lots of privacy for a family. Doors between each room and small decks off each room provided non-hotel feel. Ample storage with large closets. All appliances modern and in good condition. French doors/shutters in good condition. No bugs at all, but might need to close glass doors and turn on AC in summer for mosquitoes.
As thoroughly outlined in pictures and description, property had one updated bathroom. We (3 women) planned who would shower when. I would have liked a full length mirror in another room, but we always bring travel mirrors for options other than bathroom for make-up, etc. Property was quiet; any light noise was completely stopped at 10PM, as is expected in Europe. Never heard our neighbors & they were quiet & pleasant in hallways/entries.
Our host provided immediate and thorough communication- everything from key lock box to hot water heater. We were able to immediately reach our host for quick question during stay.
We enjoyed the diverse location- we travel to meet people and immerse ourselves in the full culture of a country. Property is in a residential area (do not expect a 5 star hotel entry) with plenty of small groceries convenience shops, and restaurants open late. We never felt unsafe. Greeted by friendly people of all cultures and enjoyed the enrichment of our experience with an 11 night stay at Homm. Use BEAT app for cheap, reliable rides to/from Homm!
