"In the heart of the Platka, this hotel is charming and the 3rd floor suite we had was beautiful. The balcony overlooked not only the bustling street below but several archaeological sites. One side note for travelers with large luggage or difficulty with stairs, we were on the 3rd floor, there is not an elevator and the flight or flights of stairs are very narrow and challenging."

"The location of this property was very convenient for eating, shopping, and was very walkable to the Acropolis site and museum. The suites were very large and comfortable. The staff was attentive and helped with our every need. They arranged transportation from the cruise ship and to the airport when we left. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Kyria was a superb location on a pedestrian street - right next to the Acropolis with stunning views from the rooftop where breakfast was served. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Accommodations were small but with all the amenities needed for a stay in the heart of Plaka !! I would recommend Kyria for your Athens stay"

"Good hotel if you don't need early breakfast (before 8am) or someone on hand at all times. Very clean rooms, good design and well maintained. I'd asked to cancel my breakfast pre-purchase and was rejected even though I'd only be using it once out of three days starting. "

"Location of the property is in an alley so a big van or shuttle would not be able to drop you off directly. The property is center of a lot of bars and restaurants. The only issue are the elevators. It's small (can fit 1 person and 1-2 luggage at a time) and it can take awhile to get down if you have a lot of luggages. Overall the staff is very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again."

"Very good location in Athens. Close to the Acropolis, but not in the middle of the crowds. Excellent view of the Acropolis from the windows. Easy walk to all the major historical sites. Definitely recommend."

"Great location, beautiful clean room. Check in is just a code e-mailed the day of which is super convenient, just make sure you have wi-fi or data. Neighbourhood is noisy but its right downtown and the hotel provided sleep masks and earplugs should you need them."

"Our room was good for an overnight stay. My only problem was with transportation. Our flight was delayed so we missed the shuttle service. Out taxi driver didn't speak or read English, and we don't read or speak Greek. We had a real tough time explaining the address of the apartment."

The staff got us in our rooms early and were very nice/helpful. The location is a little sketchy. We were warned by our cab driver who dropped us off after a cruise that the area was not good and we should not be walking after dark. A group of us walked to dinner about 6:30, the area had already started to change. When we walked back, it was not dark yet, but...
