"The setting is spectacular - we should have allowed more time for just walking around the property and lakeshore. Our second night we turned the fireplace on just for the ambiance (it was very nice) but when the room got a little warm we turned it off and opened our patio door to cool off. I recommend this (weather permitting) as later reading in bed we heard a wolf howl.
Couple heads up 1) there are no elevators so you need to be able to carry your luggage if your room is not at street level and 2) the attached restaurant has excellent food but is on the high end scale so if you want to eat less/save $ on meals you need to either drive into town to eat or bring groceries."
"The grounds are beautiful. We had a room with a lake view. One word of warning. The Jasper Fairmont is its own compound, about 7 miles from downtown Jasper. As such, it’s difficult to eat anywhere except for the restaurants on the grounds. The food is overpriced and very mediocre."
"A perfect stay! The whole experience was great, with the cabin being amazing, veeeery clean and well equipped, and the staff very helpful and kind. They also give you a newspaper with all the details you may need for your stay which was a great touch. Bonus points for the Kumama restaurant on location which had incredible brunch and dinner options.
The location of the cabins is incredible inside the park and next to the river and you can see elks and other animals daily. It’s a 5-10 min drive to the town of Jasper and we mainly took taxis although you can walk (30-40mins) but we didn’t want to have any animal encounters. We’d definitely stay again and hope to do so soon!"
"We had a very nice suite with a full kitchenette and living room. It is very conveniently located to the amenities in the town of Jasper and also to a beautiful walking path. I wish I had stayed longer at this hotel and I would definitely stay there again."
"The property is in a great location, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and having a small refrigerator in the room was a convenient and appreciated feature."
