"There are so much that i love about the Carousel, but I do have 2 complaints about our recent stay. The indoor pool was closed the entire time. To my understanding, it was a mechanical issue, but there was no sign on the door to let people know it was closed. A sign would've prevented the multiple questions throughout the day, every day. The second complaint is the game room by the pool. Those machines need some maintenance because half of them didnt work and there were 3 machines that took my credits but wouldn't let us play. My kids were quite disappointed and the front desk can't even do anything about the machines. I called the number on the card for assistance, but that was no help either. Other than those 2 things, we had a wonderful experience in our 3 night stay. Theres a heated outdoor pool that we enjoyed and we went to Jolly Rogers to make up for the games. We come to OC at the same time every year and wouldn't even think about staying at another hotel. "

"What a wonderful stay we had at Hotel Bethany Beach! A very short walk to the beach, a lovely outdoor pool, delicious free adult beverages in the fridge and vouchers for beach umbrella and chairs- they really thought of everything! Walkable to a handful of dining options and super short drive to the Bethany boardwalk. I’d give it all 5 stars but the room was not ready until close to 5 and the bed was a bit too firm for my liking. That said, hoping to make this an annual end of the school year trip. Highly recommend! "
