Assateague Island hotel rooms a the Independent

"It was very convenient to be right on the ocean. We spent an entire day on the beach. So relaxing. Hotel restaurants are good. The last day two of the three elevators were down. That made for a long trip down from the 8th floor. Hotel was comfortable and clean. "

"The only thing i wasnt happy about is there was only one elevator. Everything else was great!! Clean, walking distance to everything. Staff very friendly."

"The only issue I had was we were on the second floor right on top of the Crepe place and they would turn their music on around 730 am and the bass would be pretty annoying. The did make great Crepes and espresso though, and the staff Was very friendly, we ate there every morning "
