Mountain Chalet Snowmass

8/10 Good

"The room and premises were very clean. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise as you sit at a table and they wait on you. There are self serve options as well. The dining room is large with multiple tables that can sit 6 to 8. Plus smaller tables for smaller groups or a single person. There was a special each morning: one day it was avocado toast with sliced boiled egg and sliced tomatoes. I gave 3 stars for amenities because the elevator was out of service for my entire 3 day stay and that was an amenity I searched for. On the upside the beds and pillows were very comfortable. And view from my balcony was charming with a variety of trees and some flowers. I would stay here again definitely."

Limelight Hotel Snowmass

"This was our first time staying at a Limelight property, and we were very impressed. The room was spacious, very clean, quiet, and dark, which made for great sleep both at night and during daytime naps. My wife and I also found the mattress very comfortable. We used the pool and hot tub a few times and found both to be clean, well-maintained, and pleasant. Breakfast was unexpectedly good, with eggs, pastries, cappuccinos, fresh fruit, and many other options. The staff were also super friendly throughout our stay. The only minor drawback was finding the hotel entrance, which is tucked away in the parking structure. It wasn’t a big issue, but we did miss it a few times. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay at a Limelight property again."

"We needed an affordable option close to downtown Aspen and this hotel exceeded our expectations! Likely it was more affordable because it was summer. Short hop to Aspen meant we could get settled and then drive back downtown. The room was clean and had coffee, lots of towels, lots of seating and surfaces, a balcony with a view, and bathrobes, and there was a coffee/tea/chai/cocoa machine for free by the front desk (which dispensed actually very good beverages). We would stay again!"
