"We’ve stayed here several times because it’s convenient for where we want to be. Some rooms are more attractive than others- we stayed in a 2nd floor with a view of Buttermilk, which is much more impressive in the winter.
Breakfast was good. Didn’t sample the BBQ this time, but it’s popular."
"We stayed in the hostel section with the shared bathrooms. Our room was very small but it was clean and the bathrooms were also well maintained. The staff was very helpful. Great experience!"
"The studio condo was nice, though different than what was pictured. Clean and comfortable, and kitchen had a good amount of dishes and cookware.
The TV was not placed well for comfortable viewing from the couch or bed, but that’s the only thing that was less than satisfactory."
"Hotels location is at the beautiful place. Rooms were very clean including the towels. Really fresh breakfast with veggie options. I would go back and book this hotel."
"We stayed at Hotel Durand for a quick one night trip to Aspen. For the price and location, this place can’t be beat. It was clean and the room cozy. A very nice sized (excellent water pressure with lots of hot water) bathroom. The location is great and the owner/host was very helpful. This is one of the last remaining local Aspen hotels. It is small and there aren’t any frills, but it has all we needed. Keep in mind there isn’t an elevator so if you have a lot of luggage request a lower floor. Parking can also be a little tricky. I parked on the street but did have to circle for a bit before finding one. Overall, I would stay here again."
