"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. "The car park is far from the hotel and no bus service either. Parking was £15. The breakfast price is too high. £16.50 person. They were not enough hash browns. Always finished when went a few times. Room was good but the hand soap bottle was not working and soap and shampoo bottles too high up for shorter people. "

"This was our 5th stay at Staverton. Overall we had another lovely stay however a couple of issues with lots of dust in our room, inexperienced staff in restaurant (given meal but ages for cutlery, child had an ice cream extra with 2 course meal and tried to charge £8 almost the same price as kids 3 course meal!!, breakfast buffet sparse and slow to refill having to wait with half a plate of breakfast for rest to be refilled). We will still return and hope these small bits can be tightened up then it will be perfect! "

"The room was clean and tidy and represented good value for money. Weekend car parking was free and check in and check out was speedy. The whole atmosphere was friendly and the staff were very good. Bar food and drinks represented good value for money/ There were no boathooks in the room which could have been a problem during wet weather. There was also nowhere in the bathroom to hang wet swimwear. There were insufficient wrist bands available for the pool area meaning we did not have locker access and had to take our belongings poolside."

"The staff were very helpful & informative. The breakfast buffet could have more items however it was still decent. For breakfast, we were offered vegetarian sausages seperately as the buffet did not have any vegetarian sausages. That was very thoughtful of the staff. The room had everything we required, a hairdryer, a fridge (requested earlier), a fan & were able to adjust the heating in the room. The spa facilities were nice & clean."
