Ashley (Cheshire) station, 1992. View northward, towards Altrincham and Manchester: ex-Cheshire Lines (CLC) Manchester - Altrincham - Northwich - Chester secondary main line. Since 5/5/69 when Manchester Central closed, the service has run via Oxford Road to Piccadilly and on 6/10/69 their Chester Northgate terminus was closed and the trains then ran to Chester General.

Good location and the room is clean, but that’s is all the good points I can say. The walls are paper thin and the room next door woke me at 04:30 in the morning. The breakfast was also one.of the worst I’ve ever eaten
