"his is a very enjoyable hotel to stay at when in this area. At first its remote location is a problem; but, once you get to the hotel it is a benefit. The staff is wonderful and the hot springs are great and very clean and relaxing to soak in. After we left to go to Sapporo, I discovered that I had left an old red jacket that is dear to me at the Starlight Hotel. "Everything is pretty good. It's near transportation (JR station and the central bus station). Hotel is connected to a shopping mall with variety of food choices (even the food court is well visiting - visited the food court more than the other restaurants). Room is clean and spacious for a couple. There's a laundry area with <10 washers and dryers..iirc - some machines are combined wash dry while some were separate wash/dry (probably 3 sets). There were many travellers using them even during the night (11pm ) when we were there and we had to queue for it. No doubt enjoyed my stay and would be better if there's a private onsen. "
