Zimmer klein und leider viel zu heiß. Nur Ventilator an Zimmer und kleines Guckloch in den Innenhof. Geruch nach Putzmittel deshalb recht stark. Toll: Personal super freundlich, tolles Frühstück und sehr gute Küche.

Hotel an bester Lage an der Piazza

Hotel an sehr guter Lage, direkt an der Piazza. Sehr nettes Personal. Unser Zimmer war klein, auf dem Balkon hatten gerade zwei Stühle Platz, dafür war die Aussicht auf die Piazza und den See traumhaft. Entsprechend hörte man - bei offenem Fenster - die Geräuschkulisse der Menschen auf der Piazza. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. So ist es jeder Person überlassen, ob sie die tolle Aussicht mehr bewertet als das eher kleine Zimmer und die Geräuschkulisse. Für uns war die Aussicht mehr wert.

We spent one night in Ascona. Our Hotel room had the most beautiful view we've ever had (it was a lake view room). Apart from the balcony, the room was a normal hotel room, nothing special but also nothing to complain about. Everything was clean and we were overall super happy with our stay. We would have stayed another night if our plans permitted. Parking is unfortunately not at the hotel though - it's in a public parking garage that's not directly next to the hotel.

Hotel an bester Lage in Ascona

Das Hotel befindet sich an top Lage in Ascona. Wenn man davon profitieren möchte, unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Seeblick buchen. Die Zimmer sind eher einfach eingerichtet. Im Sommer an heissen Tagen mit der Südlage, wäre eine Airconditionning sehr wünschenswert. Frühstück bietet für ein 3.5 Stern Hotel einiges. Der eher hohe Preis lässt sich einzig mit der Lage rechtfertigen, womit das Preis Leistung Verhältnis aufs Zimmer bezogen eher als schlecht bezeichnet werden muss. Trotzdem würden wir das Hotel für spezielle Anlässe, wie z.B. das 1. August Feuerwerk, wieder buchen.

Overnight stay

A very nice hotel situated on the lakeside. Well decorated and in good order. Checkin was quick and easy with friendly staff. You get a 10% reduction on your meal bill if you dine in the restaurants below, excellent food. Public parking can be found beneath a shop only a five minute walk away.
