"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "We stayed at the hotel in March 2026. The hotel is dated, but clean. The staff were nice. The hotel rooms were clean. But the heat was so high it was very uncomfortable to sleep. Pillows were so soft your head was on the bed despite the pillow. The hotel and staff and patrons looked right out of 1970’s Lawerence Welk show. From the way we were served, to the food"
