Wonderful hotel with walking access to some great restaurants. Free parking and more importantly a scrumptious breakfast! We stayed in Suite Anna and had our own private terrace and hot tub. Views were spectacular and the whole resort is designed beautifully. Will definitely be coming back but this time for longer!

Overall rating is excellent. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, well maintained and spotlessly clean. Staff are courteous, extremely helpful and very friendly. The buffet breakfast offered an array of delicious hot and cold foods. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning in the near future!

Sadly we stayed only one night. Front desk upon arrival was very friendly and helpful. Room was large with a king bed and an extra sitting area/room. Breakfast was included and was excellent in a beautiful setting and a beautiful view. Very nice hotel and would highly recommend.

Fantastic location and staff! Room was large with big balcony and great view of ocean. Did have an occasional oder coming from the shower drain. Room was mostly clean but could use some touchup paint. Room was also very quiet with comfortable beds. Beautiful grounds and the staff was always helpful when we had questions. Breakfast was great, lots of choices and a beautiful view while eating. Pool, grounds and view absolutely gorgeous. Restaurants in walking distance.

Beautiful classic old hotel. The staff was extremely attentive. The room was great - a real shower! - and the view from the pool area is awesome. The whole setting is magical. The only nit, and this is not unique to this property, is the pool is not heated which is apparently quite common here. Just be prepared.

We absolutely loved staying here!! When we arrived Roberto kindly informed us our room was upgraded and we felt like we had the best room in the hotel. The view was amazing from every window in our room. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was great and breakfasts were delicious. Oh and the pool is perfect. I was sad to leave his hotel. It made our holiday!! Thanks for having us!! Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to everyone!

Boutique hotel. It is not a new hotel so if this is what you want it is not for you. It is 50 years old and sits high up with the most wonderful view. There are photos of the hotel in the bar area which shows its history. All the staff were helpful and polite. The reception staff spoke good English and helped us in finding a hire car (delivered and left at the hotel) and a boat trip for the day (fabulous). The hotel was spotlessly clean. A wide variety of food available for breakfast. We also had lunch at the hotel one day which was also good. The only problem were the mosquitoes, so go armed! Highly recommend.

My fiancée and I stayed for 3 nights at hotel Balocco and it was the highlight of our trip to Sardinia. The complementary daily breakfast was excellent with lots of options to choose from: eggs to order, fresh cut fruit, tasty desserts, cheeses, bacon, etc. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Everyone from the front desk, wait staff, pool/towel staff, and house keeping were warm and friendly. The service overall was excellent. There is a free shuttle to the beach you can sign up for through the front desk—they were very informative. The pool is beautiful, although we didn’t spend much time there and opted to go to the beach. The room was spacious and clean. Having a comfortable king bed was a welcome reprieve from the smaller, less comfortable beds we slept on in Florence prior to our arrival. The shower also had very good water pressure making hair washing a breeze. The decor is warm and beachy adding to the ambiance of beautiful Porto Cervo. Our favorite feature of this hotel was our gracious feline host, little Balocco. We loved being greeted by her every morning. Overall, I can’t wait to come back here! Hotel Balocco is 10/10 and I will be recommending it to anyone heading to Italy.
