"As always the room was clean and the view from the patio was unbelievable. We loved sitting on the patio and watching the goldfish and listening to the stream. This is the 4 time we have stayed here and have always enjoyed it very much. To us Taos is a special place and El Monte has made it even more special. "

"Older property, but clean and well kept. It offered amenities not often found elsewhere such as barbecue grills, horseshoe pits, and corn hole games. The location was within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Nacho chips with salsa and cookies in the afternoon, but best of all was the southwestern breakfast."

"Adam at the front desk has been exceptional. Our TV wasn’t working and he came right up and fixed it for us. We have been very pleased!"

"We stayed in a room in back with an amazing view of the water. They have a beautiful deck closer amd plenty of BBQ's. My only complaint is that people were talking loudly outside pretty late, but ill let them have it, since its an environment that really fosters conversation between strangers "
