"Staff were very helpful. Young twenty-somethings from all over the world. Nice chatting with them. It is a motel that the Base Camp corp purchased and renovated 3 years ago they tell me so the rooms are somewhat modern and not dated. Clean and surprisingly spacious rooms. We don’t like carpet as lots of stuff gets trapped there but you can’t have it all. Don’t know what hotels and motels even have carpet . As this is an old structure , the walls are thin. I could hear the dog barking next door and people too. That was the only negative experience . But when you come to the mountains for outdoor adventure , you are going to get a lot of people and pets and you have to expect that. The price was reasonable . Right in town and easy 15 min car ride to revelstoke Resort/Mountain"
